"A notch on your bedpost" nghĩa là gì?

"A notch on/on one's bedpost" = một gạch trên cột giường -> chỉ là một đối tác tình dục, tình một đêm, một người qua đường trong số rất nhiều người khác (ngủ với ai thì gạch 1 gạch lên cái cột đầu giường).
