"Black-hat hacker" nghĩa là gì?

"Black-hat hacker" là những hacker mũ đen đem về nhiều lợi ích cho mình nhất từ những kỹ thuật mà họ học được. Ngược lại những hacker nào đem kỹ năng của mình để giúp cho người khác thì được gọi là hacker mũ trắng ("white-hat hacker). "Black hat" nói chung là kẻ xấu, nhân vật phản diện, trái ngược với "white hat".

Kevin Mitnick is an American computer security consultant (chuyên gia bảo mật), author, and a black hat turned white hat hacker. He’s best known for his high-profile arrest (vụ bắt giữ nổi tiếng) in 1995 by the FBI for his various black hat escapades (đào tẩu).
“In 2013, I developed a platform (nền tảng) for security research (nghiên cứu bảo mật) through which penetration (thâm nhập) test can be done for phones and computers,” Algangaf said. “It contained concepts (chứa khái niệm) that could benefit from a controlled domain (kiểm soát miền). As for the fact that unlawful (bất hợp pháp) attacks were carried out on others, it is impossible because I simply have no interest in blackhat [activities].”
