"Start up" nghĩa là gì?

"Start up" = khởi nghiệp. "Start someone up (in something)" là giúp ai có được công việc trong doanh nghiệp. "Start something up" là khởi động (xe cộ hoặc dự án).

Ví dụ
A: “Did you start him up in business?” I inquired (dò hỏi).
B: “Start him! I made him. I raised him up out of nothing, right out of the gutter (máng nước)."

He started it up and it coughed, spit (phun phì phì), sputtered (khục khặt). He shut if off and removed the air cleaner and started it up again.

With the Covid-19 virus now a worldwide pandemic (đại dịch toàn cầu), if you’re leading any startup or small business, you have to be asking yourself, “What’s Plan B? And what’s in my lifeboat (thuyền cứu sinh)?”

Launching a successful startup is like a game with one rule: you must build a product (sản phẩm) people need and pay for, or you lose. There’s no right answer or set path, and the sky is the limit for how you want to accomplish (hoàn thành) this goal.
