"Three musketeers" = ba chàng lính ngự lâm (nhân vật chính trong tiểu thuyết cùng tên nổi tiếng của nhà văn người Pháp Alexandre Dumas cha) -> cộng sự hoặc bạn bè thân thiết.

Ví dụ
Together they were known as the “three musketeers” of Barclays Capital, responsible (chịu trách nhiệm) for the rapid growth (tăng trưởng nhanh) of Barclays in the boom years up to 2008, which culminated (lên đỉnh điểm) in a $1.75bn deal to buy Lehman Brothers’ US business out of bankruptcy (phá sản).

"One for all, all for one." The three musketeers express it so memorably (đáng nhớ) in Alexandre Dumas' novel that they always stand up for each other. The European Union (Liên minh châu Âu) on the other hand has never been so daring (gan dạ). The EU credo (cương lĩnh) is a "nonassistance clause" (điều khoản không cứu trợ).

Jane is survived by her son, Kenneth John (Arlene) Daily, Valrico Station, FL, her daughter, Diane (Brian) Willix, Theresa, NY, her grandchildren, Maloree, Chelsee, Cierra, Chad, Cassidy, Conner and Rylie, great-grandchildren, Lauren, Willow, Addison and Saylor, her siblings, Joyce, Nancy, Ben and Rick, and her close friends Dorothy and Shirley, the three musketeers.
