"Spit and sawdust" nghĩa là gì?

"Spit and sawdust" có từ "sawdust" nghĩa là mùn cưa. Trước đây, cụm từ sử dụng để tả quán bar, pub cũ và hơi bẩn (vì có mùn cưa trên sàn).
