"The Queensberry Rules" nghĩa là gì?

"The Queensberry Rules" = bộ luật Queensberry -> nghĩa là quy tắc chuẩn của xã hội về hành vi, ứng xử; nghĩa khác là quy tắc chung được chấp nhận trong quyền anh.

Ví dụ
The main element (yếu tố) of the code of rules on which modern boxing is based is it was the first to mandate (bắt buộc) boxing gloves in competition. The Queensberry rules are intended for use in both professional and amateur (nghiệp dư) boxing matches, and today is used as a reference to sportsmanship and fair play.

So the famous glove change from 10-ounce to 8-ounce wouldn’t have even been possible without the Queensbury rules as they protect the hands so that competitors can keep fighting.

Just as the Queensberry rules govern (cai trị) the sport of boxing, financial contracts in over-the-counter markets follow legal documentation known as master agreements. Derivatives (phát sinh), repo and securities lending each have their own master agreement, created and maintained by separate industry associations – much like the different belts from rival bodies in boxing.

Even better, 50 dollars were on offer to any man who survived four rounds in the ring with Sullivan under the Queensberry Rules. The tour, the first of its kind in American sport, established (thành lập) John L Sullivan’s national reputation.
