"The Elastic Generation" nghĩa là gì?

"The Elastic Generation" = thế hệ Mềm dẻo -> nghĩa là nhóm phụ nữ giàu có, tuổi từ 50 đến 70 có nhiều sở thích, thú vui; nghĩa khác (ngành quảng cáo) là nhóm khách hàng tiềm năng, sẵn sàng chi nhiều tiền cho các sản phẩm.

At the beginning of the year, the Innovation Group London studied women of what they called the Elastic Generation, or Baby Boomers, between 53 and 72. They “are living according to how they feel rather than how they ought, whether that means divorcing (ly dị) or dating, travelling or starting a business.
Even so, those campaigns (chiến dịch) can carry a whiff of tokenism. According to the Elastic Generation study, women over 50 are still greatly underrepresented (được miêu tả không đúng) in proportion to their spending power.
It’s not just celebrities. According to another new research study into Britons aged 50 to 69, called the elastic generation by the JWT ad agency, people feel no different at 50 or even 60 today.
These feelings are mirrored in findings from an Australian Ipsos Mackay report on the recently retired, and a report by the British company J. Walter Thompson Intelligence Group titled The Elastic Generation, which focuses on women in this age group.
