"Aspirational voter" nghĩa là gì?

"Aspirational voter" = cử tri đầy tham vọng -> nghĩa là cử tri ưu tiên, chỉ quan tâm tới lợi ích cá nhân.

Howard’s long prime ministership (chức bộ trưởng) was based on his connection of both the aspirational voters and those who have been traditionally labelled as ‘battlers’ – working class Australians.
With such a record, Adityanath will only enthuse (tán dương) the BJP’s core voters but not those who joined its ranks after 2014. The aspirational voter is thus looking towards the SP, and that explains the spontaneous gatherings at Akhilesh Yadav’s rallies.
The aspirational voter is progressively showing less patience. The BJP will have to move beyond symbolic power sharing with the majority of the vulnerable among the OBCs and Dalits.
In fact, in his post-swearing in speech, he spoke of the service of the common man as deshbhakthi. Whether we academic analysts (nhà phân tích) approve it or not, this is what the ordinary aspirational voter expects from politicians. May be, Kejriwal’s brand of politics will appeal to younger politicians in their pursuit of power and office in the days to come.
