"Window of vulnerability" nghĩa là gì?

"Window of vulnerability" có window là khoảng sơ hở, vulnerability là dễ tổn thương, yếu -> từ này nghĩa là giai đoạn hàng phòng thủ bị dỡ bỏ, bị tấn công hoặc thiếu thốn.

In an article (bài báo) for Atlantic, two American scholars Michael Beckley and Hal Brands, point out that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) initiates a war when it finds a window of vulnerability regarding its own territory and within its own immediate periphery (ngoại biên), or when it sees a closing window of opportunity to consolidate control over disputed areas.
A higher operational (sẵn sàng hành động) tempo will stress the Navy’s two-ship submarine tender force, but the Navy likely could sustain this tempo for six to eight weeks — that is, the window of vulnerability that a Ukraine war would create.
Before this point — and before the Ukraine crisis is resolved (giải quyết) — a window of vulnerability remains.
