Ví dụ
In an article (bài báo) for Atlantic, two American scholars Michael Beckley and Hal Brands, point out that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) initiates a war when it finds a window of vulnerability regarding its own territory and within its own immediate periphery (ngoại biên), or when it sees a closing window of opportunity to consolidate control over disputed areas.

Before this point — and before the Ukraine crisis is resolved (giải quyết) — a window of vulnerability remains. An immediate surge of air and naval forces into the Western Pacific will reduce this vulnerability, while reassuring U.S. allies and affiliates that, in the event of invasion, they will not share Ukraine’s fate.
This “window of vulnerability” was characterized by critics of détente and peaceful coexistence (chung sống) as a danger to U.S. security that could not be altered if not taken seriously.
