"Shadow banning" nghĩa là gì?

"Shadow banning" có ban là cấm, shadow là bóng -> từ này nghĩa là việc kiểm duyệt bằng cách ẩn bài đăng của người dùng (một phần hoặc toàn bộ), không cho người khác thấy, mà người đăng không hề biết.
Ví dụ
“Avoid assumptions (giả định) or misconceptions (hiểu sai). There’s no such thing as shadow banning,” Burchill told attendees (người tham dự) during a panel about TikTok. “Don’t think you’ve been shadow banned. We get that question every day. Some videos go and some videos don’t. Don’t think you can’t post. Like if you stop posting, then the algorithm is going to get mad at you. That’s not true.”
On the surface, none of these have anything in common. But they’re all prohibited (bị cấm) on Truth Social. The Daily Dot found that the platform automatically removes posts containing each. Users broadly (rộng rãi) complain that its artificial intelligence (AI) and moderators are arbitrarily deleting and shadow banning posts based on incomprehensible and inconsistent standards.
In earlier internet days, shadow-banning described a more targeted approach in which moderators (người kiểm duyệt) made harmful users' posts invisible to everyone but the users themselves (think: bots, spammers, trolls, etc.).
Bella Hadid has accused (buộc tội) Instagram of “shadow-banning” her. The part-Palestinian supermodel took to the social media app over the weekend to claim she had been locked out of posting on her account after posting about Palestine.
