"False light" nghĩa là gì?

"False light" có light là quan điểm -> từ này nghĩa là quan điểm sai lệch, không đúng sự thật; nghĩa (về mặt luật pháp) là việc làm sai trái, xâm phạm đời tư của người khác nhằm bêu xấu, tung tin đồn thất thiệt, dẫn đến đau khổ về tinh thần cho nạn nhân.

The letter says Rokita's statements Wednesday on Fox News “cast Dr. Bernard in a false light and allege (đưa ra cái cớ) misconduct in her profession.” DeLaney said the doctor could file a defamation claim (đòi bồi thường) against Rokita if he does not comply.
