"California sober" nghĩa là gì?

"California sober" có sober là chín chắn, nghiêm trang -> từ này nghĩa là dùng các chất gây nghiện như rượu, cần sa với liều lượng nhỏ, vừa phải để tránh dùng các chất gây nghiện nặng hơn.

But as he pointed out, "Making exceptions for certain drugs can become a very slippery slope (con dốc). If you've struggled with substance abuse, California sober can sound appealing, but replacing one mind-altering drug with another won't help a person to remain sober and find long-term recovery."
Though they previously described themselves as "California sober," a term used by people who choose to use marijuana but abstain from alcohol, Lovato said in December that she had cut out the drug.
“For people who truly have addiction (nghiện ngập), complete abstinence (kiêng khem) tends to work the best,” Couey said. “‘California sober’ or using in moderation may not produce the results that a person is looking for.”
