"Hay is for horses" có hay đồng âm với hey = cỏ khô để cho ngựa ăn -> nghĩa là câu trả lời hài hước, châm biếm để mỉa mai khi ai đó muốn thu hút sự chú ý của người khác bằng cách gọi 'hey'.
