"Hurry sickness" nghĩa là gì?

"Hurry sickness" = bệnh vội vàng -> nghĩa là luôn cố làm càng nhiều càng tốt trong ngày càng ít thời gian hơn.

Ví dụ
Prioritize (ưu tiên) healthy boundaries (ranh giới), set aside time for quality rest, and recognize our limits (giới hạn). Mindfulness (quan tâm), physical movement, and building in breaks are some ways to combat hurry sickness. Relaxation and alone time allow space to create the balance we deserve, for the sake of our mental health, relationships, and overall quality of life.

If you spend most of your day racing to check items off your to-do list and feel agitated (khó chịu) when anything tries to slow you down, then you may be dealing with hurry sickness.

When you’re chronically (kinh niên) in a hurry, it can mentally and physically affect you. In fact, Friedman and Rosenman found that hurry sickness was a component (cấu thành) in type A personalities and may lead to stress-related heart issues.

I was obviously suffering from hurry sickness! I found myself wondering, Is this what God wants for me? Am I called to do it all or am I called to slow down? I had opted for the former because I thought I didn’t really have a choice: three active children, full-time job, two Bible studies, weekly volunteering (tự nguyện) at church, volunteering at my children’s three separate schools, mom’s groups.
