"Catholic gap" nghĩa là gì?

"Catholic gap" = khoảng cách Công giáo -> nghĩa là khoảng thời gian từ khi kết thúc đám cưới trong nhà thờ đến khi mở tiệc chiêu đãi tại địa điểm khác trong đạo Công giáo.

Some may think that to begin a Catholic gap year you have to be a “perfect Catholic”. Well, not only is no-one perfect, the very best gappers are those with lots of questions, and an energy to dive deep into faith (đức tin), to share it with others authentically – that means, facing doubts (hoài nghi) and questions together with young people who are on retreat (tu đạo), while also inspiring them as young leaders. You do that by being who you are and who God calls you to be.

That was a Catholic gap I was loath (bất đắc dĩ) to admit, until Phil started nattering on about “the Rex Mottram approach to Amoris Laetitia” back in November, and I had to look up the reference.

During the debate, the then-head of Planned Parenthood in California said the wording was designed to close the “Catholic gap” in coverage (đưa tin), Cox reported.
