"Rag-chewing" nghĩa là gì?

"Rag-chewing" = nhai giẻ rách -> nghĩa là cuộc trò chuyện dài lê thê, tẻ nhạt.

I used that more to hone my operating skills than make acquaintances (người quen) or “talk” to hams. In ’77 earned my general and was able to use voice (SSB & FM) but as a youngster didn’t have anything in common with folks on the air 2 to 7+ times my age so I wasn’t into rag chewing.
I guess that leaves rag chewing…. my wife once asked me: “Why do you talk to strangers, when you could talk to me?” I never really recovered from that.
