“You need to know all of those dimensions,” she says, explaining that if your sofa will be in an elevator at any point of your move, you will need to know both the height and width of the elevator. And if at all possible, consider moving it in pieces. “Every commercial (thương mại) sofa can be taken apart,” she says. Just ask the couch doctor.
But it was a lost cause. They had two choices: leave it out in the street, or hire a “couch doctor”—a specialist (chuyên gia) in furniture (nội thất) disassemblement (tháo dỡ)—to saw it in half, bring it up to their apartment, and glue it back together.
The Sofa comes in two, three, or three seats + a chaise. The two-seater is perfect for small spaces and small budgets (chi phí hạn hẹp); it starts at $1,195! It’s just 60-inches wide and 31-inches deep and comes in five lovely colors. And the best part is, you can take it apart again when you move (no Couch Doctor, here!). You’ll also get a 10-year warranty (bảo hành).
