South Korea’s Climax Studios, behind recent Netflix genre hits Jung_E and “Hellbound,” is teaming up (hợp tác) with Andy Serkis to develop (phát triển) a creature feature, The Monster Tale.
Filming is now underway on a creature feature titled Daddy’s Head, Deadline has revealed this morning, which comes from writer-director Benjamin Barfoot (Double Date).
“Daddy’s Head is one of the most singularly (đáng chú ý) original genre films I’ve ever read,” said executive producer James Norrie. “Combining rich and textured characters dealing with grief and the heart-breaking longing (niềm khát khao) that a child experiences when losing a parent with a tense and horrifying creature feature will have audiences squirming in their seat.”
Beyond those roles, Stewart has also starred in a recent string of bold films, including 2022’s surreal (kì dị) sci-fi “Crimes of the Future,” and two very different 2020 projects: the heartwarming (ấm lòng) lesbian rom-com “Happiest Season” and the creature feature “Underwater.”
