"Whole works" -> nghĩa là tất cả mọi thứ, tổng hợp, hoàn toàn.
Ví dụ
"We'll serve whole hog sausage," said Whitehill. "We took 16 hogs to the locker to have them processed (chế biến) into sausage. We saved out a few of the loins (miếng thịt lưng), other than that everything goes in: the hams, the loins, the whole works goes. It is whole hog sausage."
Not long ago the frame on one of our window blinds snapped as I was pulling on the cord (nút buộc) to open it and the whole works crashed to the floor. Instead of getting all upset about it I looked at it as huge pile of free pot labels.
We're super excited for Taryn to go to Washington D.C. and it seems like almost too much to wish for her to win the whole works, but she’s really good if you had the chance to listen to the speech.
The buff-colored furniture (nội thất) — including a pair each of loft-ready beds, wardrobes, desks and matching rocker chairs — is sturdy, but airy-looking. Plus, the whole works is moveable, so students are free to switch up the look as often as they’d like. Throw in a plush rug, a pouffe, lamp, and a small couch and accent chair, and you have your own oasis.
