"Toxic masculinity" nghĩa là gì?

"Toxic masculinity" = nam tính độc hại -> nghĩa là các tiêu chuẩn, định kiến cực đoan áp đặt lên nam giới.

A road safety awareness campaign in France is tackling the role of gendered behaviour behind the wheel, warning for the first time that toxic masculinity could be as important a contributing (đóng góp) factor to road deaths as speed, alcohol, drugs and fatigue.
This is an explicit (rõ ràng) illustration of the toxic masculinity mindset, which limits and stigmatizes the roles that men can take on and puts social pressure on them to act in particular ways.
In the beautifully shot film, Campion uses the main protagonist (nhân vật chính) Phil Burbank (Benedict Cumberbatch) to examine toxic masculinity and repressed sexuality. The result is a subtle yet emotional drama not typical of the genre.
