"Ableist language" nghĩa là gì?

"Ableist language" -> nghĩa là ngôn ngữ, lời nói đụng chạm, xúc phạm tới người khuyết tật hoặc coi khuyết tật là điều đáng thương, coi người khuyết tật là nguồn cảm hứng để vượt qua khuyết tật.

Disability can be difficult to talk about sensitively (tế nhị) because of how embedded (khắc sâu) ableism is in our language, biases and perceptions of disability. Conversations about disability are slowly increasing, especially when it comes to ableist language and how disabled people are represented in the media.
Awareness around ableist language has been shifting over the years. Reedy noted that the R-word isn't used as much as it was in the past, but that other words with ableist and eugenic (ưu sinh) origins, such as "moron" and "idiot," are embedded in our vocabulary and need to be omitted (bỏ quên).
When singer-songwriter Lizzo's new single, "Grrrls," sparked a heated online discussion over the weekend about ableist language, Black disabled activist Vilissa Thompson noticed that the conversations were dominated by certain people within the disability community.
