"Bechdel test" -> nghĩa là bài kiểm tra các loại phim ảnh, sách truyện có đối xử bình đẳng nam nữ hay không bằng cách xét xem bộ phim hay truyện đó có cảnh hai người phụ nữ thảo luận mà không có đàn ông hay không.

So the Bechdel test is the feminist movie test. And it was a comic strip that Alison Bechdel created in the 1980s, basically satirizing (chế nhạo) the media for really poorly representing women in film.
First appearing in 1985, cartoonist and writer Alison Bechdel and her friend Liz Wallace devised the Bechdel Test. It is a straightforward (thẳng thắn) evaluation (đánh giá) method used to explore the representation of gender in entertainment.
Even with as far as the movie industry has come, many movies, even great movies, like the multi-award nominated Elvis, and the eerily (kỳ lạ) brilliant Nope still fail the Bechdel Test.
It might be a bit unsettling (đáng lo) to find out that contemporary feminist icon Lady Gaga is in a movie that fails the Bechdel test. Not only does Gaga’s character Ally barely talk to other women, but the one time she does, it’s still all about Jackson.
