"Balanced sentence" = câu cân bằng -> nghĩa là câu có cấu trúc song song và độ dài, tầm quan trọng ngang nhau.

Most linguists (nhà ngôn ngữ học) agree that the primary utility (tính thiết thực) of a well-stated balanced sentence is to provide perspective for the intended audience, though the concept does not convey (truyền tải) meaning by itself. Although first used by the Greeks, Connors notes that balanced sentences aren't presented clearly in classical rhetoric, and often confused with antithesis (phản đề) — which is a different type of balanced sentence.
