"Weaponized incompetence" có weaponized là vũ trang hóa, incompetence là bất tài, kém cỏi -> từ này nghĩa là giả vờ không biết làm việc gì để né tránh không phải làm công việc đó; hay còn gọi là 'né việc nhà' trong đời sống gia đình.

Weaponized incompetence is typically seen in cisgender (dị tính), heterosexual relationships with men leveraging (đùn đẩy) it against their female partners, although Phillips says the unfair dynamic can occur across relationships of all kinds.
In the domestic sphere, weaponized incompetence relates to other concepts like the mental load and emotional labor (lao động), which are used to cite common instances of inequitable (không công bằng) and often invisible division of child care and household tasks.
