"New collar worker" nghĩa là gì?

"New collar worker" = công nhân áo mới -> nghĩa là người phát triển, học tập các kĩ năng cần có (qua các phương thức phi truyền thống) để làm việc trong ngành công nghệ thông tin.
Ví dụ
Players like Google, Apple, and IBM have taken the step of dropping college degree (bằng đại học) requirements to attract new collar workers, but bringing on board new workers requires more than eliminating formal education requisites.
You can’t assume that a new collar worker will automatically be familiar (quen thuộc) with your industry and product offering.
Remember to be patient, there may be a big learning curve but that doesn’t mean the person isn’t qualified (đạt yêu cầu) – they may actually highlight any friction in your onboarding process that could prevent other new collar workers joining.
For the most part, new collar workers are young, and many companies are looking for young talent. But don’t cry “ageism!” just yet – anyone can be a new collar worker if you’ve got the drive and will to try something… well, new.
