"Abiotic factor" nghĩa là gì?
"Abiotic factor" = nhân tố vô sinh -> nghĩa là các nhân tố về tính chất hóa học, tính chất vật lý của môi trường xung quanh sinh vật như nhiệt độ, độ ẩm, ánh sáng, đất, không khí...
Ví dụ
In ecology, biotic and abiotic factors encompass (vây quanh) all the living and non-living parts of an ecosystem. Biotic factors pertain (gắn liền với) to living organisms and their relationships. Abiotic factors are the non-living components of the ecosystem, including sunlight, water, temperature, wind, and nutrients (chất dinh dưỡng).
Ocean currents (dòng chảy) involve the movement of water, which in turn facilitates movement of biotic and abiotic factors like organisms (sinh vật) and nutrients. Currents also affect water temperature and climate.
Both biotic and abiotic factors can influence and constrain a species’ population. Factors in an ecosystem that inhibit (hạn chế) biotic operations like population growth are called limiting factors.
Abiotic factors have profound impacts on the variety and abundance of life in an ecosystem, whether in water or on land. But it works both ways: Biotic factors can also alter (làm thay đổi) abiotic factors. All that phytoplankton in the ocean produces an abundance of oxygen.
