"Black Nationalism" nghĩa là gì?

"Black Nationalism" = Chủ nghĩa Dân tộc Đen -> nghĩa là phong trào xã hội, chính trị chống đồng hóa cộng đồng da đen vào các chủng tộc khác và ủng hộ độc lập trong các cộng đồng da đen.

Marcus Garvey (1887-1940), Jamaica’s first national (quốc gia) hero, was an orator (người diễn thuyết) for the Black Nationalism and Pan-Africanism movements (phong trào), to which end he founded the Universal Negro Improvement Association and African Communities League.
Malcolm X began work on his autobiography (tự truyện) in the early 1960s with the help of Alex Haley, the acclaimed (hoan nghênh) author of Roots. The Autobiography of Malcolm X chronicled his life and views on race, religion and Black nationalism. It was published posthumously in 1965 and became a bestseller.
In a desperate attempt to drive home a link to black nationalism and direct attention away from these other troubling vectors, some news outlets began referring to Johnson as “Micah X” (NOI members use “X” to replace their “slave names”).
Understanding black nationalism as simply the mirror image of white supremacy (uy thế), rather than an anti-racist practice, has deep roots in American political discourse.
